Starting in April I will be teaching four new classes, which you can see on the new Classes And Camps bar above. Two will be at the new Loft 112 (Preschool storytelling and Home School Multi-media writing) and two will be at the Alexandra Writers' Centre Society (Reading and Writing help for younger and older kids).
I'm excited to be working with preschoolers again. They have a crazy amount of energy. Really, they are the only people who can keep up with me - and I respect that. I'm also pumped to be hanging out with the home school crowd. They are such a diverse group and usually really outspoken and well read. It should be interesting. And I really hope to help a whole bunch of local kids improve their literacy skills without shame. They tend to feel so embarrassed by their issues with reading and writing. It makes me so happy when I can show them a way around a problem that has been sticking them in place. I'm really looking forward to doing this in a group situation where we can all work as a team to help each other.
